About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage a team of up to 6 accounts payable professionals
- Ensure accurate and efficient processing of vendor invoices
- Oversee invoice processing, payment approvals, vendor management, and month-end close activities
- Establish and monitor performance metrics and KPIs
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes
- Generate regular reports and analyses on accounts payable performance
- Present findings to senior management and make recommendations for process enhancements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Very strong experience in accounts payable, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role
- Extensive knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with Oracle Fusion
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational excellence in accounts payable functions
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
