About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Data capturing of telecommunications network within an Intergraph GIS system, responsibilities include:
Data gathering from various sources (internal database systems, xls, vsd, ppt, doc, dwg, hardcopies)
Data consolidation, verification and clarification.
Interpreting and understanding various network drawings and documents
Populating network detail within GIS
Modifying and updating of data within the system
Data preparation in AutoCAD.
Assisting with the load of data into GIS
Supporting the Infrastructure design function
Data analyses, map layout designs and map preparation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical thinking (orientation in technical drawings and in tabular overviews)
Knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS principles is an advantage
Telecom’s infrastructure experience is an advantage
Fluent written and spoken English
