About the role
- Influencing EXA’s overall approach to serving our clients, ensuring we are well positioned with existing and new customers to achieve incremental growth, with a focus on hunting new customers.
- Prospect and identify potential clients through research, networking, and lead generation.
- Execute effective sales strategies to acquire new business and expand our market share.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing market clients to understand and serve their business needs.
- Effectively articulate EXA’s value proposition, showcasing how our capabilities can optimize the communication infrastructure of our customers.
- Build, lead, and execute a carefully planned account development plan that serves as a success roadmap for sales objectives being exceeded.
- Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives.
- Handle, coordinate, collaborate and work with various cross-functional groups across the business.
Requirements
- Hunting experience in sales of telecommunications infrastructure services
- Demonstrated experience as a "hunter" in a sales role, with a passion for prospecting and generating new business opportunities that will underpin long term growth with customers
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional relationship management skills
- Ability to operate comfortably at a senior level within the customer base.
- Strong presentation skills
