About the role
- Take technical and economic responsibility for the infrastructure of our gas and water supply
- Lead and develop a team of around 40 employees
- Strategically advance the organization and ensure efficient processes
- Overall responsibility for planning, construction and the safe operation of the gas and water supply
- Assume the role of Technical Manager for Gas and Water in accordance with DVGW guidelines
- Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and external partners
Requirements
- Completed degree in engineering (Diploma or Master) or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in network planning or civil engineering, ideally in the energy sector
- Several years of leadership experience
- Solid knowledge of planning, construction and operation of gas and water networks and facilities
- Experience in the transformation of energy networks
- High self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility
- High IT affinity and proficiency in MS Office
- Very good written and verbal communication skills
- Driving licence class B
