About the role

  • Design and implement responsive, intuitive, and efficient next-generation Cloud Developer Experiences
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality

  • Participate in code reviews and develop best practices to enhance code quality and maintainability
  • Utilise testing frameworks like Playwright and Jest to ensure reliability and stability of the codebase

  • Influence application architecture and overall engineering culture as an early member of the Console team

Requirements

  • Typically 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development
  • Strong skills in a modern JavaScript framework
  • Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
  • TypeScript experience
  • NodeJS experience desired
  • Experience using developer tooling of cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Experience or knowledge of Kubernetes strongly valued
  • Experience with responsive web design principles
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Playwright and Jest
  • Proficient in using Git for version control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Interest in exploring how AI can enhance development and user experience
