Regional Business Manager – Interface, Polyurethane Additives
EvonikRegional Business Manager for Interface & Polyurethane Additives in Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand. Responsible for commercial activities and developing business relationships in the assigned territories.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Commercial responsibility for product & service offerings of Evonik Interface & Polyurethane Additives business line in the assigned territories within the Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand region
- Conduct relevant business development activities, including but not limited to, market sizing, in-market surveys, opportunity identification & development, and development of business plans
- Develop and implement sales plan in line with defined top-down targets
- Manage direct accounts and distribution channels in the territory; maintenance of forecasts
- Develop and maintain working business relationships with customers, distributors, and other industry stakeholders in the territory
- Coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to define and implement key account plans, market segment and product strategies
- Gather and report on relevant market and business information
- Coordinate technical support initiatives, such as trainings and seminars for the assigned accounts/territory
- Coordinate with colleagues responsible for business operations (order-to-cash, supply chain, finance, etc) for effective business operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field preferred but not mandatory
- 5 - 10 years of working experience in client facing role such as Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Strategy, Technical Service or related field preferred
- Experience in working in the specialty additives industries preferred (e.g. Agrochemicals, construction additives, defoamers, wetting agents, plastic compounding, chemical manufacturing additives, rubber processing, and similar)
- Fluent in local language and English
- Fluency in Chinese, Korean or Japanese languages preferred but not mandatory
