About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages the development, implementation and maintenance of software applications
- Develops project plans and cost estimates
- Provides direction and leadership to a team of applications developers
- Tracks, monitors, and communicates project progress
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of application analysts
- Oversee the full lifecycle support of GMP applications
- Serve as a global project manager for GMP-related IT initiatives
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks
- Partner with cross-functional business teams
- Ensure all IT solutions align with GMP regulations
- Act as a key liaison between stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors
- Contribute to leadership activities
- Maintain strict adherence to cGMP, quality, and ESHS standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong background in application development or system administration
- Proven experience leading complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Advanced knowledge of GxP and GAMP Computer System Validation (CSV)
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with risk assessment, business impact analysis, and continuity planning
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
