About the role
- You independently develop the retention strategy for multiple D2C e‑commerce brands.
- You set up email flows, campaigns, and automations in Klaviyo.
- You analyze purchase behavior by cohort and use sequences for segmentation.
- You evaluate additional retention channels and implement them, e.g., WhatsApp, SMS, and loyalty programs.
- You build structures and processes for the retention function at EVOLVE.
- You use AI tools strategically to improve output quality and efficiency in the email and retention area.
- You advise clients on email performance, segmentation, and retention measures.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of D2C e‑commerce experience in email marketing/CRM (ideally with Klaviyo).
- You have an affinity for numbers and analyze data to optimize campaigns and automations.
- You can professionally assess email copy and brief internal teams.
- You have the ability to build a function from scratch, even without established structures.
- You communicate clearly and reliably — both with clients and internally.
- You actively deploy AI tools with concrete workflows, not superficially.
- Ideally, you already have experience with WhatsApp marketing, subscription models, or loyalty programs.
