About the role
- Lead Evolv’s quality function across the full product lifecycle from supplier through first 30 days of customer installation
- Build relationships with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Success, and suppliers
- Conduct comprehensive assessment of current quality systems, processes, and tools and identify gaps and risks
- Develop and implement frameworks for reporting key quality metrics and establish baselines for improvement
- Implement a Quality Management System (QMS) integrating data flows from Salesforce to Arena (PLM)
- Launch and manage a closed-loop problem resolution process for field issues, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and participate in design and phase gate reviews to ensure production readiness
- Partner with production teams at contract manufacturing sites to improve production processes and product reliability
- Provide regular reporting and KPI updates to executive leadership and Head of Supply Chain and Procurement
- Establish roadmap for scaling continuous improvement and reliability engineering practices
Requirements
- Quality expertise and leadership across the product lifecycle (product design through manufacturing, order entry, and fulfillment)
- Focus on supplier quality through first 30 days of customer installation
- Ability to build relationships across Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Success, and key suppliers
- Experience developing and implementing quality metrics and reporting frameworks
- Experience implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) and integrating end-to-end quality data flows (Salesforce to Arena/PLM)
- Experience launching closed-loop problem resolution processes, including root cause identification, corrective action, and prevention of recurrence
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives with clear owners and measurable outcomes
- Participation in phase gate and design reviews to ensure production readiness, quality, reliability, and manufacturability
- Ability to provide program-level visibility and report to executive leadership
