Develop a solid understanding of our software architecture, system constraints, and product requirements
Build credibility with the engineering team by contributing high-quality code for feature enhancements / bug fixes
Actively participate in design and code reviews
Implement features designed by the team lead, following Evolv’s coding standards and technical guidelines
Partner with the product team to gather and iterate on requirements, present software designs for team feedback, and ship polished code to customers
Provide meaningful input into long-term architectural decisions and product roadmap planning
Collaborate with the development team to explore user interface ideas and define application flows
Review application requirements, identify user interactions, and build highly responsive UI components using React.js workflows
Ensure UI components and the overall application are robust, well-tested, and easy to maintain
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and communicate technical issues affecting customers’ experience on our platform, then implement targeted frontend fixes
Monitor and continuously optimize front-end performance
Document application changes and keep technical documentation current

Requirements

2+ years of React.js and its ecosystem
2+ years of experience with TypeScript; JavaScript knowledge is a plus
2+ years of experience with HTML and CSS
Strong understanding of JSON data structures and experience integrating APIs
Experience with UX design is a strong plus
