About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsibility for end-to-end project management from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and project closure
Management of cloud and infrastructure projects with a focus on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) as the strategic platform and Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios
Implementation of structured project governance through scope, risk, quality and change management, stakeholder and communications management, and financial and KPI reporting
Application of established project management methodologies in traditional (Waterfall, PRINCE2) as well as agile and hybrid models (Scrum, agile delivery models)
Support of sales activities by preparing project and migration concepts as well as effort estimates, roadmaps and resource models
Active contribution to delivery standards, best practices and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of experience in active project management of IT, cloud, or infrastructure projects
Solid technical understanding in at least one of the following areas: virtualization & software-defined data center, VMware by Broadcom (esp. VCF), Azure and/or AWS, and Kubernetes
Experience managing interdisciplinary, hybrid project teams
Structured, analytical working style with strong customer and results orientation
Very good German and English language skills
Ideally you already hold project management certifications (PMI, PRINCE2, Scrum)
Experience in consulting, system integration, or enterprise service environments and vendor knowledge (VMware, Microsoft, AWS) is a plus
