About the role

  • Lead end-to-end execution of large-scale data annotation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Build, mentor, and manage distributed global teams of linguists, annotators, and engineers
  • Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients
  • Gather and translate client requirements into actionable project plans
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, resourcing models, and risk management frameworks
  • Oversee creation and enforcement of annotation guidelines and quality frameworks
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and cost effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product, engineering, and linguistics teams
  • Stay up to date with advancements in Generative AI, NLP, and annotation methodologies

Requirements

  • 7–8 Years of experience in project management
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-lingual, global projects
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related field
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication skills with CEFR C1 or higher English proficiency
  • Deep knowledge of linguistics, corpus annotation, and ML data annotation techniques
  • Strong understanding of NLP, NER, and Generative AI workflows
  • Advanced expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Hands-on experience with annotation tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
