About the role

  • Support for students with behavioral difficulties, often with psychological/mental health issues, in the areas of school, family environment and peer group
  • Advising teachers at mainstream schools regarding their role as educational and socialization agents
  • Assisting mainstream schools in creating a learning- and development-promoting environment to implement individual support measures
  • Support for parents/families in implementing parenting agreements and in establishing and strengthening a sustainable parent–child relationship

Requirements

  • Degree in special education (Förderschule) or Master’s degree in Educational Science
  • Desirable: additional qualification in systemic counseling
  • Experience working with students facing significant challenges or distress
  • Counseling/advisory skills
  • Ability to work in a team and handle conflicts
  • Stable and resilient personality
  • Independence and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to cooperate with partner organizations
  • Willingness to participate in conceptual development
  • PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver’s license (Class B - car)
