About the role
- Development, implementation and management of measures to promote social integration within the neighborhood
- Establishment, maintenance and coordination of networks with clubs, welfare organizations, initiatives, schools, social service providers and volunteers
- Initiation and management of intercultural opening processes
- Support and counseling for people with migration and refugee backgrounds
- Planning and execution of events, projects and participation formats that strengthen cohesion in the town
- Public relations work as well as moderation of working groups and citizen dialogues
- Documentation, reporting and cooperation with funding bodies
- Analysis of the local social structure and derivation of needs-based measures
Requirements
- Degree in social work/social pedagogy, social sciences or a comparable qualification
- Experience in migration and integration work
- Strong social and intercultural competence
- Multilingualism desirable, ideally Turkish, Arabic, Albanian, etc.
- Ability to build networks and strong communication and moderation skills
- Resilience and the ability to handle difficult situations
- Independent, structured and responsible working style
