About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify opportunities to improve quality, optimize efficiency, and integrate pathology imaging solutions
- Secure agreement and a clear path forward to address customer needs
- Clearly articulate the value of digital pathology
- Drive targeted, sustainable improvements and recommendations tied to clinical, financial, and operational performance using Lean and Six Sigma tools
- Collaborate with internal and external customers for benchmarking and sharing industry best practices
- Evaluate customer workflows and create plans to achieve digital pathology objectives
- Communicate technical product information clearly to diverse stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of quota-bearing experience in a sales role with clinical laboratories or pathology accounts within the territory
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
- Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and commercial laboratory purchasing processes
- Executive-level presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication
- Experience in identifying target accounts, prospecting, and managing the full sales cycle
- Consultative sales approach
- Ability to apply creative strategies to close deals
- Ability to contribute to and manage the proposal and contracting process
- Deep knowledge of the digital pathology market and competitors and/or an existing network of influential decision makers
