QA Engineer

• Execute manual and automated test cases using Playwright with guidance from others
• Assist with preparing test data, test environments, and regression suites
• Use Postman to perform basic API requests and validations under supervision
• Log clear, reproducible defects; retest fixes
• Support regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (such as standups, planning, reviews, and retros) to learn the process

• Manage accurate and timely payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll-related regulations
• Manage garnishments and other payroll deductions
• Review payroll transactions for completeness and investigate payroll discrepancies
• Reconcile vacation and leave accruals and ensure that leave hours are accurately coded and recorded
• Conduct annual workers compensation audit
• Calculate and handle payments toward the pension accrual account, flex benefits account, and prepaid accounts
• File and maintain payroll records and reports, including payroll journal entries and month-end closing journal activities
• Prepare reconciliations between accounting records and payroll records, including Form 941
• Respond in a timely fashion to payroll inquiries and requests for information
• File and maintain archives of various payroll files
