About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • This position is with EAII Advisors, Evidence Action’s technical partner in India.
  • The role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, data integrity, and technical upkeep of Evidence Action’s Planful environment, combined with hands-on FP&A work including financial reporting, variance analysis, and planning cycle execution.
  • Build and maintain Dynamic Reports and SpotlightXL reports for monthly close packages.
  • Produce monthly budget-vs-actual and forecast-vs-actual variance analysis.
  • Maintain and update standard report library across audience-specific folders.
  • Support allocation rate calculations and validation.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.
  • Review consolidated trial balances and Planful output after each monthly close for anomalies.
  • Maintain funder code hierarchies and ensure new segments are accurately reflected.
  • Monitor the daily Sage Intacct-to-Planful integration and verify data loads complete without errors.
  • Execute DLR uploads as directed.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recurring tasks.
  • Support annual budget and reforecast cycles by loading data files, updating dimension members, and preparing templates.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • - Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance required; CA preferred
  • - Minimum 7-10 years of related experience in accounting and/or reporting
  • - Working knowledge of US GAAP; nonprofit accounting and fund accounting experience strongly preferred
  • - Experience with FP&A processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting
  • - Hands-on experience administering a financial system (EPM/CPM, ERP, or consolidation platform), including dimension maintenance, data loads, user provisioning, and integration monitoring in a multi-entity environment. Planful experience preferred; Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar acceptable.
  • - Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and data manipulation
  • - Comfort working across multi-currency, multi-entity environments
  • - Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred) and ETL/integration tools a plus
