About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This position is with EAII Advisors, Evidence Action’s technical partner in India.
The role is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, data integrity, and technical upkeep of Evidence Action’s Planful environment, combined with hands-on FP&A work including financial reporting, variance analysis, and planning cycle execution.
Build and maintain Dynamic Reports and SpotlightXL reports for monthly close packages.
Produce monthly budget-vs-actual and forecast-vs-actual variance analysis.
Maintain and update standard report library across audience-specific folders.
Support allocation rate calculations and validation.
Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.
Review consolidated trial balances and Planful output after each monthly close for anomalies.
Maintain funder code hierarchies and ensure new segments are accurately reflected.
Monitor the daily Sage Intacct-to-Planful integration and verify data loads complete without errors.
Execute DLR uploads as directed.
Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recurring tasks.
Support annual budget and reforecast cycles by loading data files, updating dimension members, and preparing templates.

Requirements

What you’ll need

- Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance required; CA preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of related experience in accounting and/or reporting
- Working knowledge of US GAAP; nonprofit accounting and fund accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience with FP&A processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting
- Hands-on experience administering a financial system (EPM/CPM, ERP, or consolidation platform), including dimension maintenance, data loads, user provisioning, and integration monitoring in a multi-entity environment. Planful experience preferred; Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar acceptable.
- Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and data manipulation
- Comfort working across multi-currency, multi-entity environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Sage Intacct preferred) and ETL/integration tools a plus
