Accountant

• Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting schedules
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP
• Prepare and review general ledger and recurring journal entries
• Support the preparation of financial statements and internal financial reports
• Prepare audit schedules and provide documentation for internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with organizational accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
• Collaborate with Finance team members and other departments to meet reporting deadlines
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required
• Provide backup support for accounts payable, payroll, and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Assist Finance leadership with special projects, analysis, and process improvement initiatives
