About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own local market content
  • Adapt tone, structure, and messaging to local expectations — produce high-quality, market-native Swiss French rather than literal translations
  • Provide voiceovers for ads
  • Ensure brand consistency while maximizing local relevance
  • Serve as the market expert
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, objections, and cultural nuances
  • Flag messaging, offers, or UX elements that do not translate well locally
  • Advise on influencer and creator content to ensure cultural relevance and brand alignment
  • Optimize for performance
  • Improve conversion-focused content on landing pages and key funnels
  • Support SEO localization: search intent, phrasing, and keyword nuance
  • Collaborate with CRM to optimize email and lifecycle messaging for engagement
  • Enable scalable expansion by helping build repeatable localization workflows
  • Document learnings and market insights for future rollouts
  • Collaborate with the central content team to improve AI + human localization processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Native-level Swiss French with excellent written grammar, clarity, and nuance — applicants must be from French-speaking Switzerland
  • Fluent in English as a working language
  • Able to turn English-first content into natural, market-native copy rather than literal translations
  • Strong instinct for tone, persuasion, and customer/user motivations
  • Performance- and audience-aware; understands how local language choices impact conversion, engagement, and trust
  • Familiar with SEO localization, including search intent and phrasing differences
  • Able to identify underperforming messaging and proactively suggest improvements
  • Comfortable working on localizations at scale
  • Experienced with AI-assisted or translation-first workflows
  • Strong skills in structuring information and designing workflows
  • Able to balance speed and quality in a fast-moving environment
  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience working independently in editorial, localization, copywriting, or content roles
  • Ideally experienced in DTC, food, wellness, subscription, e‑commerce, or consumer tech
  • Comfortable making independent editorial decisions
