About the role
- Own content for the Swiss market
- Adapt tone, structure, and messaging to local expectations — produce high-quality, market-native Swiss French rather than literal translations
- Provide voiceovers for ads
- Maintain brand consistency while maximizing local relevance
- Serve as the market expert
- Provide feedback on customer needs, objections, and cultural nuances
- Flag messaging, offers, or UX elements that don’t translate well locally
- Advise on influencer and creator content to ensure cultural relevance and brand alignment
- Optimize content for performance
- Improve conversion-focused content on landing pages and key funnels
- Support SEO localization: search intent, phrasing, and keyword nuance
- Collaborate with CRM to optimize email and lifecycle messaging for engagement
- Enable scalable expansion by helping build repeatable localization workflows
- Document learnings and market insights for future rollouts
- Collaborate with the central content team to improve AI + human localization processes
Requirements
- Native-level Swiss French with excellent written grammar, clarity, and nuance
- Fluent in English for day-to-day collaboration
- Able to transform English-first content into natural, market-native copy — not literal translations
- Strong instincts for tone, persuasion, and customer/user motivations
- Understands how local language choices affect conversion, engagement, and trust
- Familiar with SEO localization, including search intent and phrasing differences
- Able to identify underperforming messaging and proactively recommend improvements
- Comfortable with localization at scale
- Experienced with AI-assisted and translation-first workflows
- Strong at structuring information and designing workflows
- Able to balance speed and quality in a fast-moving environment
- Minimum 4 years of independent experience in editorial, localization, copywriting, or content roles
