Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for performing engineering assignments requiring professional proficiency in electric distribution and transmission substations.
Acts as a project engineer for all substation project assignments and leads the engineering design effort.
Defines the concept, scope, and detailed engineering aspects of substation and switching station projects.
Prepares and develops project cost estimates and schedules.
Collaborates closely with other engineering disciplines and departments.
Ensures that design and specification of transmission and distribution systems are completed accurately.
Provides technical guidance and leadership to other junior engineers.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required
3-5 years related experience is required
Substation engineering experience is preferred
Strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, familiarity with Bluebeam Revu
Ability to navigate various software programs, knowledge of basic computer skills - such as video conferencing and instant messaging.
