About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Will contribute to the legacy and smart Metering and Energy Efficient platforms
  • Responsible to work with internal staff and 3rd party vendors to oversee the development, integration, maintenance, patching and repairing of software
  • Creates or ensures architectural designs exist for systems
  • Creates or ensures BC and DR plans exist for systems
  • Leads software performance management (measure and improve)
  • Successfully plan and execute projects involving multiple developers and complex requirements
  • Contributes to major architectural decisions
  • Spurs and facilitates meaningful discussion around complex issues
  • Works with key stakeholders effectively to solve problems and make decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience
  • Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • May have deep knowledge of architecture and project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced Degree in a related field preferred.
