About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build and maintain dashboards for operational metrics, project tracking, and compliance.
Develop paginated reports and automate subscriptions for recurring reports.
Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI refresh schedules and gateway connections.
Connect and transform data from Maximo, P6, PowerPlan, Workday, Workforce, iTOA, Cascade and other industry tools.
Maintain and enhance SQL views, stored procedures, and data pipelines in our Integrated DataMart.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports for stakeholders across Integrated Planning & Scheduling and Electric Operations.
Support the development of Work Plan slides, Gap Analysis, and Contractor Performance Summaries.
Collaborate with end-users to validate data and ensure reporting accuracy.
Use tools like Python, Power Automate, and Excel VBA or others to streamline manual processes.
Maintain the IPS Report Catalog and Analytics Request Tracker.
Create and update how-to guides, documentation, and training materials.
Work closely with IPS Managers, Directors, and Analysts to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Present findings and updates in staff meetings and executive briefings.
Provide end-user support and training for Power BI tools and reports.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires knowledge of technical modeling techniques, business assessment and modeling tools and best practices.
Requires high-level understanding of the organization’s business systems and processes as well as industry-wide requirements.
Requires high proficiency in relationship management, verbal and written communications, meeting facilitation, multitasking, time and prioritization management.
Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must have expertise in one or more of the following areas: Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
Microsoft SQL Server and TSQL.
SSIS
Experience working with enterprise systems such as Maximo, P6, PowerPlan, Workday, and iTOA.
Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Excel (including Power Query and VBA) and Python for automation and data processing.
