About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct, coordinate, and supervise daily activities of field engineering designers.
- Review and approve work for internal/external customer requests.
- Manage cross-functional teams and initiate technical process improvements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and safety leadership.
- Analyze workload and coordinate resources effectively.
- Responsible for designs that are safe and environmentally responsible.
- Coach, mentor, and provide technical guidance to staff.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related technical experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience is required.
- Previous experience in electric distribution is preferred.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is also preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills by achieving positive results under non-ideal circumstances.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry codes and standards related to the electric utility industry.
- Valid driver’s license.
