About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Under minimal supervision, conduct or oversee work associated with Load Settlement reporting in support of ISO-NE wholesale electricity markets.
Provides timely and accurate daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ISO-NE and other key stakeholders.
Provides accurate metering and billing data to ISO-NE, suppliers, and other parties both internal and external to Eversource.
Operates or oversees the Load Settlement System applications as directed while assisting with updating the model.
Develops estimation and reconciliation techniques for the electric business based on the assessment of the external environment.
Identifies and implements streamlining opportunities.
Recommends, develops and maintains business and SOX controls for the Load Settlement System.
Conducts or oversees application testing, as needed.
Provides support in preparation of expert testimony and prepares responses to data requests for regulatory proceedings.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics/Finance, Engineering, other data intensive field, or equivalent related experience.
Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience required.
Strong technical, quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated skill using and manipulating large computer data bases.
Knowledge of Load Settlement and/or other RTOs (such as NYISO, PJM, etc.).
Preferred: PC computer skills (i.e., SAS programming, AQT, SQL, VBA).
Experience with the Eversource billing systems.
Desirable: Knowledge and understanding of the ISO-NE wholesale electricity market and the Eversource electrical system.
Understanding of ISO-NE tariff as it relates to Load Settlement.
