About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports the implementation of the Eversource Quality Control (QC) program
  • Ensures work complies with all federal, state, and company construction standards
  • Direct and stop work to ensure compliance
  • Responsible for accurate documentation of inspection results
  • Performs activities contributing to the annual gas inspection plan including random inspections and re-dig program activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in gas distribution, utility or technical experience preferred
  • Knowledge of gas construction and maintenance standards, work practices and procedures, and safety requirements
  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite and adaption to other software tools.
