About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This position is responsible for all engineering, compliance, quality management, regulatory policy, emergency preparedness and records management activities throughout Eversource.
Oversees and directs all engineering and compliance activities required for reliable and safe delivery of natural gas.
Develops and monitors key performance indicators for the Gas Operations sub-processes in collaboration with field managers.
Takes the lead in managing all gas related regulatory inquiries and is required to effectively manage relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
Minimum of twelve (12) years gas distribution, utility or technical experience.
Requires extensive knowledge of Gas Operations methods, procedures, systems and facilities.
Requires strong organizational and managerial skills.
Ability to manage operating budgets, operating plans and works cross functionally.
Demonstrated leadership in strategic planning and performance improvement efforts.
