Key responsibilities & impact

Provides guidance and oversight for all environmental field response activities involving releases of Oil & Hazardous Material (OHM) and Asbestos Abatement
Leads team of Supervisors and Environmental Coordinators across the 3-State area of Electric & Gas Distribution Operations
Coordinates with Procurement to acquire best qualified / lowest cost vendors for OHM Spill Response, Waste Management & Asbestos Abatement
Tracks & Reports monthly metrics
Provides Electric & Gas Operations Field Staff training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
Minimum of ten (10) or more years of utility environmental experience
5 or more years managing/overseeing environmental professionals
Demonstrated working knowledge of federal and state rules related to OHM spill response, cleanup, waste management, and asbestos abatement in Massachusetts, Connecticut and New Hampshire
