About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, direct and assist with organizing and prioritizing work group activities
Assign and schedule work duties to meet required completion dates
Work with other departments on cross-functional technical and business teams
Responsible for successful completion of field engineering work
Preparation of estimates, business policy applications, planning and design
Responsible for coaching, directing and providing technical support
Collaborate with other Engineers within Engineering to ensure consistency and teamwork
Analyze workload to ensure availability of resources
Responsible for assisting with evaluation and development of new technology, equipment, systems, tools, standards and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related technical experience required
Minimum of 8 years of related technical experience is required
Previous experience in electric distribution is preferred
Previous experience in a supervisory role is also preferred
Demonstrated leadership skills by achieving positive results under non-ideal circumstances
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry codes and standards related to the electric utility industry
Valid driver’s license
