About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Direct, coordinate, and supervise the daily activities of field engineering designers.
Assign work and prioritize assignments for customer requests and construction designs.
Review and approve work for internal and external customer requests.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance to staff.
Participate in project and budget review committee meetings.
Ensure completion of field engineering work including estimates and design preparation.
Maintain customer satisfaction and ensure timely project implementation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related technical experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience is required.
Previous experience in electric distribution is preferred.
Previous experience in a supervisory role is also preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills by achieving positive results under non-ideal circumstances.
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry codes and standards related to the electric utility industry.
Valid driver’s license.
