About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for financial aspects of the Company’s transmission service, including transmission tariff and wholesale transmission/distribution contract billing
Prepare monthly billings related to transmission/distribution contract rates, transmission tariffs and other monthly billings
Responsible for monthly billing analysis and journal entries related to monthly billing calculations
Prepare assigned FERC Form 3-Q/1, 582 and Electronic Quarterly Reporting and related financial analysis associated with transmission service contracts and agreements
Communicate with customers and handle customer matters as they arise
Prepare forecasts for annual budget and regulatory filings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other associated degree
Three (3) or more years of related experience
Strong knowledge of finance, accounting or other related disciplines
Understanding of utility accounting and regulatory framework is preferred
Detail oriented and the ability to be thorough and precise
Ability to multi-task and shift among competing priorities
Strong technical skills including MS Office applications and various financial systems
