About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supports the implementation of the Eversource Quality Control program related to construction, maintenance, and other activities at Eversource Gas
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and company construction standards and procedures
Directs and stops work if necessary to ensure compliance
Verifies that work is performed by qualified personnel and in accordance with company standards
Identifies non-compliant conditions and makes recommendations for corrective action
Responsible for documentation of inspection results and gas quality control programs
Assists during emergency restoration assignments as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, related discipline or equivalent experience
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in gas distribution, utility or technical experience preferred
Requires knowledge of gas construction and maintenance standards, work practices and procedures, and safety requirements
Requires strong technical writing and oral communication skills
Familiar with MS Office suite and could adapt to other PC based software tools
Will be expected to become Eversource Operator Qualified
