About the role
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive asset management plans for electrical infrastructure
- Analyze condition assessment data, inspection reports, outage records, and performance metrics to assess asset health
- Develop and maintain asset lifecycle models to support long-term planning and replacement planning
- Develop probabilistic and consequence modeling to evaluate asset risk and recommend mitigation strategies
- Support regulatory processes including the ISO-NE Asset Condition Reviewer process and Transmission Rate Protocols Process
- Oversee management of Thermal Ratings (NX9) database and ISO-NE submittals
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, finance, regulatory, and planning teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- An Electrical Engineering degree is preferred
- A minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in the technical, operational or engineering aspects of the electric utility industry
- Supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Experience in one or more aspects of the job is required
- Transmission experience is strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, reliability standards, and risk modeling methodologies
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and asset management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
