About the role
- Identifies improvements and major repair needs on the distribution system
- Responsible for engineering support to Field Engineering Design for any customer additions
- Plans system improvements in-line with customer needs
- Reviews daily interruption reports
- Analyzes projected circuit deficiencies for assigned circuits
- Recommends equipment replacement vs repair to maximize Return on Asset (ROA)
- Responsible for the performance and design of the electrical distribution system
- Develops training guides and materials
- Attends industry conferences and webinars
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
- Two (2) to Five (5) years of equivalent experience in Energy Delivery is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in electric utility engineering required
- Three (3) years of experience in distribution engineering preferred
