About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identifies improvements and major repair needs on the distribution system
Responsible for engineering support to Field Engineering Design for any customer additions
Plans system improvements in-line with customer needs
Reviews daily interruption reports
Analyzes projected circuit deficiencies for assigned circuits
Recommends equipment replacement vs repair to maximize Return on Asset (ROA)
Responsible for the performance and design of the electrical distribution system
Develops training guides and materials
Attends industry conferences and webinars

Requirements

What you’ll need

A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required
Two (2) to Five (5) years of equivalent experience in Energy Delivery is preferred
Minimum 5 years of related experience in electric utility engineering required
Three (3) years of experience in distribution engineering preferred
