About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with the planning function and performance for all assigned circuits.
  • Assist in identifying benefits from individual projects and predicted desired outcomes.
  • Provide engineering support for specific projects.
  • Assist with engineering resolutions for multiple outages in the Distribution System.
  • Create field work in current work management system.
  • Assist DDE/Lead with developing recommendations on equipment replacement vs repair to maximize Return on Asset (ROA).
  • Participate during major restoration efforts including Emergency Preparedness.
  • Provide reports as required.
  • Work with DDE/Lead in the development of distribution projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Zero (0) to Three (3) years of equivalent experience in Energy Delivery is preferred
  • Knowledge of distribution systems is desired.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Knowledgeable of various computer applications including Microsoft Office.
  • Circuit analysis software skills preferred.
  • Must hold a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
