About the role
- Oversee budgeting, analysis and forecasting aspects for Eversource
- Develop and monitor direct reports
- Provide financial support and lead various financial projects
- Collaborate with key business areas
- Manage schedules to ensure deadlines are met
- Develop actionable plans with staff to achieve goals and objectives
- Ensure efficient use of resources and project organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 5+ years of related experience required
- CPA or industry specific designation(s) preferred
- Strong knowledge of finance, utility accounting and regulation
- Experience in regulatory financial concepts such as revenue requirements and rate making theory is desirable
- Financial modeling experience is desirable
- PowerBI experience preferred
- Knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics experience preferred
