About the role
- Driving the procurement sourcing strategies
- Managing the bid process
- Negotiating purchase of materials, equipment, and services
- Collaborating with colleagues through all stages of the sourcing process
- Assisting in identifying and implementing best practices in procurement
- Providing expertise and advice on strategic approaches to business partners
- Conducting Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Leading complex sourcing projects effectively
- Establishing and monitoring contract and supplier performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) years related experience
- Advanced sourcing and procurement best practice process knowledge
- Strong understanding of contract language terms and conditions
- Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and influencing skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Licensed certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), Six Sigma, Lean, Process or Project Management
