About the role
- Responsible for leading the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications.
- Work directly or through subordinates with customers to identify information requirements.
- Collaborate with Clients, vendors, industry consultants, and senior management to define acceptable service levels.
- Manage the reconciliation of client requirements with existing and/or projected capacities, capabilities, and performance.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key clients.
- Direct the overall deployment and activities of their staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Business Application Developer, Business Analyst or the equivalent.
- Knowledge of human resource policies and procedures.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplined teams to achieve assigned project schedules, costs and goals.
- Mastery of Project Oversight and Conflict Management.
- Working knowledge of the organization’s business practices and strategies as well as familiarity with the company’s products and resources.
- Mastery level knowledge in information systems technologies and methodologies in mainframe, midrange and PC compatible and emerging environments.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills including the ability to solve complex technical problems.
