About the role

  • YouTube video editing: You will take full responsibility for editing and producing YouTube videos from raw footage to final upload. You ensure a clear narrative arc, dynamic storytelling and high viewer retention, all optimized for the YouTube platform.
  • Post-production & polishing: In post-production you give the videos their professional look. You integrate graphics, text overlays, animations and visual effects purposefully to make content understandable, entertaining and high-quality.
  • Color correction & color grading: You ensure a consistent, high-quality visual aesthetic. With a strong sense for color, contrast and mood you perform color correction and grading to give each video a clear, recognizable look.
  • Audio & sound design: You ensure clear, balanced audio, including editing dialogue, music and sound effects as well as targeted sound design to heighten emotion and maximize the overall impact of the videos.
  • Workflow optimization & use of AI: You work efficiently and in a structured way and are open to new technologies. By using AI tools and optimized workflows you continuously improve editing processes, save time and raise production quality to the next level.

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of DaVinci Resolve: You are confident to advanced in DaVinci Resolve — from editing and audio to color grading and final delivery. Complex timelines, tidy project structures and professional results are standard for you.
  • Experience in the YouTube & online video environment: You bring project experience from YouTube, social media or online video and understand what makes content successful: retention, pacing, visual clarity and audience-appropriate execution.
  • AI & workflow affinity: You enjoy testing new tools, AI features and automated processes and integrating them sensibly into your daily work. Efficiency, scalability and quality are aligned for you.
  • Detail-oriented: You pay attention to every detail and implement technical specifications precisely. Your accuracy ensures all projects are executed exactly as required.
  • High quality standards & creative sensibility: You have a pronounced eye for detail, timing and aesthetics. Your goal is to produce not just “good” but outstanding videos that are visually compelling and memorable.
