About the role
- Review and analyze bid documents, including RFPs, plans, specifications, and other supporting documents
- Develop preliminary estimates and coordinate detailed input from estimators and technical staff
- Develop and issue scope packages to subcontractors and vendors; solicit, evaluate, and organize pricing to ensure completeness and competitiveness
- Prepare proposal packages, including narratives, pricing breakdowns, and required documentation
- Collaborate with BDEs and BDAs to prepare and submit RFIs and support descope meetings with clients and partners
- Contribute to bid and pursuit strategies by identifying scope gaps, pricing insights, and competitive positioning
- Participate in job walks and assist with bid strategy development
- Prepare proposal documents, presentations, and prequalification submissions
- Communicate with clients and partners under the direction of the BDE, representing EverGreene with professionalism and accuracy
- Take ownership of smaller pursuits, including straightforward proposals and direct client opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve business development processes, documentation, and training resources
- Oversee and advise BDCs in preparing prequalification materials and support their professional growth
- Work closely with BDEs to refine pursuit strategies, customer communications, and follow-up activities
- Support BD Executives during client meetings, both in-person and virtual, and assist with meeting documentation and next steps
- Maintain engagement with project teams through project handoff to ensure a smooth transition from pursuit to execution
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, or business development
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Familiarity with estimating workflows and pricing coordination
- Proven ability to manage multiple pursuits and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong client service orientation with interest in developing long-term relationships.
