About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical assistance to non-lighting trade allies, manufacturers, and distributors
Identify and maintain relationships with manufacturers and distributors for energy efficiency
Conduct on-site training for energy efficiency technologies
Recruit new contractors and distributors to participate in the program
Participate in training and program planning efforts
Develop sales and marketing plans for assigned regions
Maintain accurate project tracking records

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive experience in non-lighting energy efficiency technology applications
Field sales experience beneficial
Previous experience working with manufacturers and/or distributors
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Self-starter, highly detail-oriented and organized
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Past sales experience with utility or energy conservation is a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required
