About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and analytical support for the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of Salesforce customer- and partner-facing portals.
- Build and enhance custom Experience Cloud sites using LWC, Apex, Visualforce, and JavaScript.
- Develop custom apps, triggers, and controllers to extend platform functionality.
- Integrate third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs to enable secure portal interactions.
- Implement complex security models, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to protect partner/customer data.
- Work with business analysts to translate business needs into technical designs and user-friendly portal interfaces.
- Use SFDX, ANT, Git, and DevOps tools to manage releases.
- Take ownership of assigned work, follow through on commitments, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities) implementation.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data modeling and sharing/security models.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for user interface customization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or II certification preferred.
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification preferred.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and deployment pipelines preferred.
- Interest in or exposure to Salesforce AI capabilities preferred.
- Experience supporting customer-facing or partner-facing technology solutions preferred.
