About the role
- Build and maintain 15+ services and several React front-ends
- Ensure financial calls have under one-second latency and 99.9% uptime
- Comply with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and FCA requirements
- Improve code quality through reviews and knowledge sharing
- Assist in migrating from legacy systems to microservices
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Integrate critical APIs without breaking changes
Requirements
- 7+ years in software engineering
- Expert in TypeScript / Node.js, React, REST API craft, Docker, and cloud CI/CD (AWS or GCP)
- Advanced SQL skills on high-volume MySQL clusters
- Fintech or payments background (PCI-DSS, FCA, GDPR)
- Advanced proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s)
- Proficient in Go (Golang)
- ML/AI credit-decision experience is a bonus
