About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain control structures to ensure data accuracy and quality across upstream and downstream systems
- Conduct data integrity gap analyses and partner with business and IT teams to resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly and quarterly claims analytics reports for leadership
- Analyze key performance indicators and support data‑driven decision‑making across the Claims organization
- Support fraud detection, subrogation analysis, medical management reviews, and legal analytics
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop tailored data solutions
- Present findings in a clear, concise, and visually compelling format
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst or experience in data mining (preferred)
- Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and data quality principles
- Proficient in SQL, BI platforms, Python, and R
- Intermediate proficiency in VBA
- Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Project, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking, time management, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Experience documenting functional requirements and working with cross‑functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
