About the role
- Perform detailed data analysis and profiling to support MDM and data integration initiatives.
- Analyze and validate master data domains such as Customer, Product, Vendor, or Supplier.
- Work closely with MDM developers to validate match, merge, and survivorship logic.
- Perform data reconciliation and validation between source, staging, and target systems.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Support implementation and enhancement of Informatica MDM / PowerCenter / IDQ solutions.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and duplication.
- Create documentation including data mapping, data lineage, and business rules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and governance policies.
- Support UAT, reporting, and production validation activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst
- Hands-on experience with Informatica (MDM / PowerCenter / IDQ / IICS)
- Strong understanding of MDM concepts – golden record, match & merge, survivorship rules, hierarchies
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
- Experience in data profiling, cleansing, and data quality analysis
- Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration workflows
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
