About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

We are seeking an experienced Solution Consultant to support our ERP implementation projects from a functional and process-oriented finance perspective.
Act as the link between accounting/finance stakeholders and the ERP technical teams.
Ensure that financial processes are properly designed, implemented, and optimized.
Lead the finance workstreams in ERP implementation projects.
Analyze and redesign finance processes (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting, etc.).
Support account chart design and financial data migration.
Define reporting structures and compliance requirements.
Conduct workshops with clients' finance teams.
Support testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities.
Ensure compliance with local GAAP/IFRS requirements.
Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in Business Administration or a related field.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, German Tax Advisor) is highly desirable.
Experience as a consultant for German and/or European companies.
Solid knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB/GoBD), IFRS, and EU financial regulations.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and closing processes.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
Experience in ERP implementation projects is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Fluent German (written and spoken).
