About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the overall revenue accounting process, including the revenue accounting month-end close process
Oversee revenue recognition (ASC 606) accounting conclusions based on business operations
Handle ad hoc revenue accounting related projects for a subset of EverCommerce's software solutions
Onboard acquired companies to US GAAP revenue recognition
Implement and maintain the Company’s revenue recognition policies, identifying operational expedients where possible
Manage 1 direct report with opportunity to grow team through acquisition of additional businesses
Assist EverCommerce team in implementation of best-in-class billing and revenue recognition systems
Maintain data integrity of revenue and billings for yearly financial statement audit
Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue schedules for accounting close process, including SoX controls
Additional ad-hoc projects as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-5+ years of accounting experience
BS/BA degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
1-3 years of public accounting experience with strong revenue recognition acumen
Strong understanding of month-end and year-end close processes
Strong organizational, project management and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail, writing and communication skills
Strong interest in learning and developing additional skills and expertise in multiple areas of operational and technical accounting
Must be eligible to work without sponsorship.
