About the role

  • Play a key role in developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of two HR Generalists supporting multiple business units
  • Interpret, apply, and enforce HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Oversee complex employee relations issues and ensure resolution in alignment with legal requirements and company values
  • Counsel managers on setting performance goals and conducting evaluations; support managers addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans
  • Manage the exit process for departing employees (prepare separation agreements and manage offboarding procedures)
  • Use HR data and metrics to inform decisions, identify trends, and improve outcomes
  • Build and leverage partnerships with HRBPs, Legal, Payroll, Benefits and other people-related functions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing HR team; act as a thought partner to business leaders and report to the VP, People Operations and Rewards

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a people management role
  • Proven success in a high-growth, fast-paced environment—ideally in tech or software
  • Strong experience in employee relations, performance management, and coaching leaders at all levels
  • Strong expertise in global employment laws and compliance, with emphasis on the U.S., Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build trust
  • Strategic mindset with strong operational execution skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive situations with empathy, sound judgment, and discretion
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR certification preferred (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and HR systems; Workday HCM experience preferred
  • Experience leading a remote team and/or supporting leaders located in multiple time zones
  • Must be eligible to work without sponsorship
  • May require travel to Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or other North America offices
