About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Recruit, vet, and manage qualified electrical contractors and negotiate quotes to protect gross-margin targets
- Review project intake details, establish schedules and milestones, and forecast major events
- Serve as the primary project contact for clients and internal teams
- Facilitate status calls and pre-construction meetings
- Collaborate with Electrical Professional Engineers on site designs and hardware requirements
- Manage sales-order shipments and delivery logistics
- Coordinate business licenses, permitting companies, municipal permit applications, and utility or equipment upgrade planning
- Oversee active EV charging deployments and confirm equipment operation after construction
- Verify municipal inspections and collect closeout documentation
- Manage project purchase orders and vendor invoices in NetSuite
- Track project milestones and collaborate with Finance on vendor payments after inspection
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of project management experience in EV charging infrastructure (EVSE), electrical construction, or commercial construction/energy sectors
- Strong grasp of electrical scopes of work, site plans, and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in ERP/project management software such as NetSuite, Procor, and JIRA
- Experience navigating local municipal permitting processes and working with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
- Experience working with utility providers
- Ability to manage project budgets and evaluate contractor pricing
- Ability to align projects with profit-margin goals
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Track record of driving cross-functional collaboration and client satisfaction under pressure
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
