About the role

  • Finalize Eve’s compensation philosophy and job-level framework with the Head of People.
  • Benchmark all roles using market data (Pave, Radford or similar) and build salary bands across functions.
  • Conduct a baseline pay-equity audit and deliver recommendations.
  • Support equity administration (Carta, grant tracking, audit prep) and create employee-friendly equity resources.
  • Launch Eve’s first company-wide compensation review cycle with clear calibration tools and manager enablement.
  • Deliver the first Total Rewards Statement to all employees.
  • Maintain high-accuracy compensation data in HRIS and deliver quarterly insights to leadership.
  • Establish a market benchmarking cadence and present data-driven recommendations for adjustments.
  • Achieve ≥80% employee understanding of total rewards value (survey).

Requirements

  • You have built a compensation philosophy and infrastructure from scratch.
  • Owned equity distribution, cap tables and refresh programs.
  • 4–6 years of experience in compensation, total rewards, or HR analytics within a high-growth SaaS or tech environment.
  • Hands-on with benchmarking tools (Pave, Radford, Option Impact) and strong Excel/Sheets modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated success implementing compensation bands or supporting annual review cycles.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to make complex compensation concepts simple and human.
  • High integrity and discretion handling confidential data.
  • Experience partnering with Finance on headcount or budget planning.
  • Benefits program design or vendor-negotiation exposure.
  • HRIS configuration or data-governance experience.
